This machine is very difficult to install – the instructions are vague and you have to find and download files. But even after you get it installed, if you scan a multi-page document, it puts every page in a separate file. Really? This makes the resulting scan very awkward and time consuming to use. Can you image trying to read a 10 page document and having to separately open each and every page? Who designed this? Idiots.

Mac running Catalina- the brother driver site looks like it has versions that support it but it wont install and run right. Included guide is useless except for giving the URL for the download. There are two drivers TWAIN and ICA and no guidance on which to select. The iScan is there as well, and it looks like it finishes installing but the app isn’t anywhere to be found. Selecting an older OS instead of 10.15 got me to where it directed the download of the app from the apple store, and it worked using that. If you are able to work out install problems, then you can get it to work, but for people who depend on well designed products, it’s too much trouble. Who designed this software?
